[RSW] Announce team hired!
RSW SIGNS ANNOUNCE TEAM!!!
After interviewing dozens of would be announcers.. Two men matched up fairly nicely and Mr. Waldron felt they had the potential to be the voices of RSW events.
When asked about the newly haired announce team, this is what Mr. Waldron had to say.
"There were quite a bit of commentators that could have done the job, no slight to them. But after talking to them all two seemed more interested in helping build RSW then the others. I think MR. Houston and Mr. Chambers will be great additions and partners for the future of RSW. "
Rex Huston is his self a former Pro Wrestler from the 80's and retired after a serious injury to his knee took him out of the ring. Since then he has been training wrestlers as his gym in Oklahoma. When asked what brought him to RSW this is what Rex had to say. "I've been training guys for a while. but I felt I still had something more to give. I saw a chance when I saw a advertisement about RSW needing talent on both ends of the action. This is my chance to help a company from the ground up. Plus I was never bad on the mic at all."
Steve Chambers is a former radio DJ, even had a sports show on a local news channel for a bit, not to mention he owns his own production company that films commercials for local business owners. This is what Chambers had to say about what brought him to RSW. "I found out from a friend of mine to be honest. He mentioned that Mr. Waldron was looking for people to do commentary for RSW. I've always have been a big fan of wrestling. So I though it could be fun. I went to school to be in communications, and while I loved being a DJ, I feel I can help RSW out allot. Maybe not in the same areas as my new partner in crime (Rex Houston) but in production of the shows. I have a good feeling about this.
And so do I. I think both these men bring more then there voices to RSW, which can only help this federation rise over the next few years. Rex Houston and Steve Chambers have also been hired to fill more then just the announcing of the shows. Houston has been hired as a Talent Agent, while Chambers has been given the duties of being in charge of the production of the shows. Chambers already has his own production company, and its a perfect match for RSW.
